SWACHHATA ABHIYAN

From 1-9-2017 to 15-9-2017

   Day 1 Report:

    With great zeal and enthusiasm, the ‘Inaugural function’ of Swachhata Pakhwada started in Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1, Uppal, on 1^st September, 2017.

Ø The Inaugural function started with an introductory speech by Sri B. Sudershanam, PGT, Hindi and CCA Incharge. He said that it is the basic duty of every person to keep the surroundings clean. This helps for the prosperity of the house, city and thus country.

Ø Badges were presented by the class teachers to the Swachh Sainiks selected from each class [One boy and one girl] on the assembly stage.

Ø Entire school took oath regarding Swachh Bharat Abhiyan in Hindi.

Ø Competitions and activities to be held during these 15 days were announced/ informed to the students.

      Later all the students cleaned their classrooms. They cleaned the Blackboard, desks, chairs, tables, window panes etc. with dusting clothes.

  Day 2 Report:

         Principal Sri P. Srinivas Raju advised the students to keep the classes and school premises clean. He informed the benefits of keeping the surroundings clean.

Ø Shields were presented to the ‘Cleanest classes/ ‘Swachh Kaksha.’  Winners shields and a Runners shields were presented to 2 Secondary sections and 2 Primary sections by the Principal.

Ø Another competition was announced, i.e. a ‘Swachh Balak/Balika’ award will be presented to a student of every class on every day on the assembly stage.

A part of the school garden was cleaned by the students with the help of teachers and conservancy staff. They removed the weeds and also watered some plants.

DAY-3 -(06-09-2017) 

As a part of swachtha Abhiyan 2017-18 cleaning of various labs in the school was undertaken by the lab incharges and students enthusiastically.

 Day – 4 (07/09/2017)

As a part of Swachhata Abhiyan  activities that are undertaken by the school today are as follows:

Ø  Presentation of a group song by the students of VE during the morning assembly.

Ø  Winners and Runners rolling shields were awarded to Swachh Classes both in Primary and Secondary.

Ø  Cleaning and decorating of Welcome Board and its immediate surroundings.

Ø  Putting up of WALL OF HEROES as a part of Swachhata Abhiyan and also to evoke sense of patriotism.

Ø  A Short film on the topic “My contribution to make my country clean” has been initiated.
